First Visit

Like most patients, you probably have some questions about your upcoming visit with us. At Placer Oral & Dental Implant Surgery, we will make every effort to ensure you feel safe, comfortable, and informed throughout your treatment.

During your first appointment, you will meet with our experienced oral surgeon, Dr. Martin. You can expect Dr. Martin to complete an oral evaluation, review your medical history, order any scans, and listen to your preferences and goals for improved oral health. Any questions you may have are encouraged—no question is too small! The first visit is an ideal opportunity to bring up any questions or concerns you may have.

We ask that patients arrive early to their appointment to allow the time necessary to check in and complete any additional paperwork. This ensures that we can make the most of your time during your first visit at our practice.

At Placer Oral & Dental Implant Surgery, a parent or legal guardian must be present to accompany any patient under the age of 18.

Your health and safety are a top priority for us. Please inform us of any medical conditions, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, rheumatic fever, artificial valves and joints, etc. Some medical conditions that may be of concern prior to surgery. Instructions

Financial & Insurance Information

Placer Oral & Dental Implant Surgery is committed to providing quality oral surgery treatments with the highest standard of care. To make oral surgery as affordable as possible for our patients, we work with many insurance companies and accept several methods of payment.

Dr. Martin creates customized treatment plans for every patient; your treatment, and cost thereof, will be dependent on many factors, such as type of procedure and insurance coverage. It is important to note that insurance coverage is widely varied, and while we will do our best to provide you with the most accurate estimate in advance of your treatment, it is only an estimate. Keep in mind that some treatments may not be covered by your insurance.

Regardless of insurance coverage, you are responsible to pay the balance for services rendered by Placer Oral & Dental Implant Surgery.
