Meet Dr. Daniel A. Martin

Dr. Daniel A. Martin, DMD was born and raised in El Dorado Hills, California where he attended Oak Ridge High School. He attended Brigham Young University, receiving a Bachelors of Arts in Korean. Following undergraduate studies, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD).

Pursuing his passion Dr. Martin completed a 1-year internship and a 4-year postgraduate residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He completed his internship training at the University of Illinois Chicago and his residency at Emory University and affiliated hospitals in Atlanta, Georgia. During his training he was exposed to a wide variety of procedures in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is trained in the most current advances in surgical techniques, including image-guided surgery and virtual surgical planning, to ensure that his patients have a comfortable experience and best possible outcome.

Dr. Martin provides a full range of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures with emphasis on surgical removal of wisdom teeth, dental implant placement, bone grafting, intravenous and general anesthesia, corrective jaw surgery, facial trauma, reconstructive surgery and Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and a California General Anesthesia license. Dr. Martin is a member of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, The California Society of Oral and Facial Surgeons, The American Dental Association, and The California Dental Association and Sacramento Dental Society.

Dr. Martin, his wife, and three children are happy to be practicing in the area where he grew up and feels very fortunate to be a part of the community. Dr. Martin enjoys spending time with his family and friends, being outdoors, golfing, boating, and fishing.
